What should a China shoe sole supplier provide?
A capable shoe sole supplier should match the sole construction, compound, hardness, density, color, size grading, mold, bond surface and test requirements to the finished shoe. Before mass production, the buyer should approve a documented sample and know who owns the tooling.
“EVA sole” or “rubber outsole” is not a complete specification. The same material name can cover different formulations, processes and performance. ZWC starts by converting the buyer’s shoe, reference sample and target use into supplier-selection and approval criteria.

Shoe sole sourcing FAQ
Can ZWC source an existing sole with no new mold?
Possibly. Send the shoe type, required dimensions, size range, construction, material and quantity. Existing tooling can reduce cost and lead time, but fit and ownership still need verification.
What determines the MOQ?
Material batch, color, mold cavities, size allocation, machine setup and production scheduling all contribute. A lower MOQ may require existing materials/tooling, fewer colors or a trial plan.
Who owns the shoe sole mold?
The contract should say who pays, who legally owns each size, where it is stored, how long it is maintained and whether it can be transferred. Do not rely on an oral promise.
Can one test report cover every order?
Not automatically. Test relevance depends on material, formulation, construction, production batch, target market and the agreed standard. Confirm the test plan with a qualified lab or compliance professional.
