Feasibility sprint
Target products, process route, capacity, labor model, destination utilities, site constraints, budget logic and critical unknowns.
Output · feasibility brief + decision risksZWC helps overseas manufacturers turn a production plan into an operating system—connecting process definition, factory layout, China machinery sourcing, utilities, FAT, installation, commissioning, operator training and after-sales follow-up.
A factory project should begin with what must be produced, at what quality, volume, labor model and cost. Only then should the process sequence, equipment, line balance, layout, utilities, tooling and acceptance tests be selected.
ZWC packages this work as a gated project-delivery service for selected manufacturing investments. ETPU particle-foam production is one project example; footwear factory machinery sourcing, new line setup, capacity expansion and equipment replacement are other applications.
Important boundary: ZWC coordinates the China-side commercial and technical delivery. Architectural, civil, fire, pressure-system, electrical, environmental and occupational-safety design or approvals must be completed by qualified professionals in the destination country.
Start with a paid feasibility sprint or appoint ZWC for the full delivery. The stage gates keep sunk cost low until the technical and commercial case is strong enough to proceed.

Output · feasibility brief + decision risksProcess flow, line balance, equipment boundary, preliminary layout, utility loads, tooling, automation level and supplier RFQ package.
Output · comparable technical bid basisSupplier screening, technical clarification, quotation normalization, contract milestones, drawing review, factory acceptance and packing evidence.
Output · purchase recommendation + FAT recordShipment interface, installation readiness, supplier technician coordination, dry run, utility checks, production trial and site acceptance support.
Output · SAT + open-item registerOperator training, parameter record, defect escalation, spare-parts plan, maintenance routine and remote China-side technical follow-up.
Output · repeatable pilot-production recordA machine quotation is not a factory plan. Gaps usually appear between material flow, production sequence, line balance, tooling, utilities, quality control, maintenance, operator skills and local infrastructure.
Bill of process, quality points, takt assumptions, work content and material flow.
Equipment functions, capacity, changeover, fixtures, molds, consumables and spares.
Machine positions, buffers, aisles, power, air, water, extraction and safety interfaces.
Incoming checks, in-process control, final testing, data records and acceptance evidence.
The documents below form the project memory. They also create a common reference when the material supplier, machine maker, mold maker, local contractor and production team are in different companies.
| Control package | Typical contents | Decision enabled |
|---|---|---|
| URS / design basis | Products, performance, capacity, shifts, utilities, local constraints, interfaces and exclusions. | GO / REVISE / STOP |
| Technical RFQ | Equipment scope, molds, auxiliaries, controls, documentation, training, spares, warranty and bid-response format. | COMPARE LIKE WITH LIKE |
| Bid normalization | Technical deviations, commercial exclusions, lead times, payment gates, consumables and lifecycle support. | SUPPLIER SELECTION |
| FAT protocol | Drawing checks, safety functions, dry cycle, sample run, capacity assumptions, measurements and punch list. | RELEASE FOR SHIPMENT |
| SAT / ramp record | Installation checks, utilities, trial conditions, approved material and mold, output, defects, training and open actions. | PRODUCTION HANDOVER |
The service is not tied to one machine or one material. Each engagement begins with the production result and then builds the suitable supplier, equipment and implementation package.
Cutting, stitching, preparation, lasting, cementing, pressing, finishing, conveying and testing equipment selected around the shoe construction and capacity plan.
Consulting for an ETPU particle-foam production application, including line concept, hardware sourcing, utilities, acceptance and China-side technical follow-up.
New manufacturing cells or lines where the buyer needs a China-side partner to integrate multiple equipment suppliers into one RFQ and delivery plan.
Capacity additions, bottleneck removal, equipment replacement, automation steps and quality-system upgrades for an operating facility.
We recommend separating advisory deliverables from equipment value. This keeps supplier recommendations auditable and gives the buyer useful documents even if the project pauses.
For a team deciding whether to invest, what product to start with and what information is still missing.
For an approved project that needs a buyer-side RFQ, China supplier search and a controlled equipment decision.
For buyers who need one China-side owner through equipment manufacture, FAT, shipment, commissioning and ramp-up.
A China machine package must be adapted to the actual destination site and support model—not a Chinese domestic-factory assumption. Our current Russia ETPU engagement is one example of aligning China equipment resources with an overseas operating environment.
Send the target products, construction or process, expected annual and shift output, destination country, available building or layout, utilities, labor assumptions, target start date and current budget. Unknowns should be recorded rather than guessed.
Yes, for an agreed product range and scope. The final package may cover cutting, stitching, preparation, assembly, lasting, cementing, sole pressing, finishing, material movement and laboratory or quality-control equipment. The exact machines depend on the footwear construction, sizes, capacity, labor model and factory layout.
No. It is one project example within the broader factory setup and production-line delivery service. The same project method can support selected footwear machinery programs, new production cells, capacity expansion and factory modernization.
Use agreed materials, product or tooling and measurable criteria such as cycle time, stable output, dimensions, appearance, defect limits, safety functions and data records. FAT and SAT conditions should be written before the purchase order—not negotiated after shipment.
No blanket guarantee is responsible. ZWC manages the agreed China-side sourcing and project-delivery scope. Licensed local engineering, building, boiler or pressure-system approval, occupational safety, environmental compliance, customs, product certification and legal decisions must be confirmed by qualified parties in the destination market.
Yes, when a smaller validated cell meaningfully reduces product, process and investment risk before full-capacity expansion. The feasibility stage compares pilot, phased and full-line routes against the intended commercial output.
We will structure the unknowns, identify the first process and equipment decisions and propose the smallest useful project phase—before you commit to a machine package.
